There's also the WBC to take into account a Thai Nawaphon is in line for the title so depends on when they have to face him could determine when Esrtada II happens.
Gonzalez and Estrada are definitely on a collision course towards a rematch. They're both disposing of all of the top Flyweights and sending them into retirement. Estrada took out Viloria and Segura, and he's supposed to fight Hernan Marquez on July 18th. Gonzalez took out Yaegashi and Sosa.
Will HBO put up enough money to make the rematch happen?
would love to see the rematch, could happen anytime this year or early 2016. Plenty of good fights to have out there, if I was guiding him, I'd set it up like this:
Ruenroeng for a unification
Then the Estrada rematch
Then Viloria and then finally the Estrada rematch

How many times do you want him to rematch Estrada? lol
Ruenroeng is not a bad choice. Besides a unification they could promote it as a battle of unbeatens.

and ruenroeng has a tricky, unusual style, which might be interesting. i don't see him winning due to his low activity, but it'd pose gonzalez problems he hasn't had to face before
