You better ask team Ward just when they think Andre is ready to take Golovkin... In 2017? After 3 "tune-ups"?

Lets stop sensationalizing things about him moving up.

Canelo would probably have the balls to fight GGG later but don't count on Cotto he is a complete disgrace who will hold the best hostage for as long as he can fighting Golovkin's leftovers or cab drivers like Rodriguez. Since GGG will probably not get Canelo or Mayweather this fall he could fight the winner between Lemieux vs N'Dam. Lemieux has already expressed desire to fight GGG that would be a good fight if he becomes champ next month.

It's not about now, it's about the FUTURE. 10 yeas, 15 years, hell 30 years from now when the hoopla about needing to fight Ward will be long gone. Being recognize as the true Middleweight champion while also solidifying all your title defenses will mean higher status as an ATG.
He is at 15 title defenses now, but unless he unifies and becomes Lineal or the Recognized Champ, those defenses mean nothing.
