Provo ain't a top EE fighter. KOvalev Loma and GGG are beasts but have great skills and amazing ametuer records to go along with it.
Neither is Monroe a top or near to or even kinda semi top "slick" American fighter. And if you said that about Provodnikov before Algieri people here would have crucified you I'm telling you generalizing is not a good idea.

Loma Kovalev and GGG whipped the **** out of any slickersters they fought though you can't deny that.

It would be one thing if GGG struggled against a second tier Slick boxer in Monroe. But he basically owned him, and whatever Monroe landed was a gift from GGG who basically invited him to punch back and not give the ref a reason to wave it off prematurely.
So if he did what he was supposed to do against a second tier slickster, then that in no way makes a case that he doesn't stand a chance against A-level technical, slick fighters.
Slick Hopkins couldn't do **** vs Kovalev, neither could Sillakh.
Ouma, Monroe and Sugar Daniel Geale failed with a Slick style v GGG
Gary Russel Jnr is sort of slick and he failed spectacularly against Loma.
Slick Americans stand little chance against top EE fighters. I still think Ward would out hug GGG on the inside and beat him on points though, but apart from that American fighters, and indeed all other regions of fighters, don't stack up too well to these ex-Soviet bloc machines.
It shouldnt work on GGG...Because hes ***ing Asian! :hehehe:

Yes they did whip em I never said they didn't right, but neither does that mean that it would be as easy just cause they annihilate these mediocre guys, or that a style doesn't work against them because they've done that, that just makes no sense.
Like I said generalizing is a bad Idea fellas. Let me put it this way just cause Leo Santa Cruz can beat the **** out of an insurance salesman at 126 in a firefight does not mean he could pull the same **** off on Nicolas Walters he would get annihilated in that firefight. You can't make assumptions about styles based on fights against mediocre opposition they don't really represent the styles at their best, when GGG does represent one of the best if not the best with regards to his particular style.
