Comments Thread For: Mayweather Stands Firm on Not Buying The Injury Claim

WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not buying the right shoulder injury claim by Manny Pacquiao. The two boxers fought in the richest event in boxing history on May 2nd, with Mayweather winning a twelve round unanimous decision when the smoke was cleared.

Mayweather says he's very upset with Pacquiao for telling reporters that his performance was affected because he entered the fight with a right shoulder injury and further hurt himself in the fourth round. He says he tore his rotator cuff in the fourth.

Mayweather saw no indication during that action that Pacquiao was suffering any form of shoulder injury.

Floyd you must be ****** did PAC have surgery or not ? What makes someone not believe an injury is when you claimed rotar cuff tear and never had surgery had you had a tear and kept boxing your arm would be useless by now

Ok but I'm going to buy that he had Marquez problems.

I"m going to buy that he had Bradley problems.

I'm going to buy that he has leave Bob Arum to fight him.

I"m going to buy that he has to joing the TMT to fight him.

I'm going to buy that he has Tax Issues and only reason why he fought you..

          Bunch of load of crap!

I"m going to buy that you put up a fan based website to call you next fight and the fans clearly choose Khan over Maidana and you Fkd! the Fans and went with Maidana.

I can go on and on, but...

Until you stop making and saying dumb s#it up, than maybe, just maybe, I'll buy into your claims that Manny's injury was not real because as far as all the data and facts out. It's legit and nor has he strung us along like Mr. Mayweather Jr.

          LOL!

After Pacquiao said he doesn't buy Mayweather jab that he was a sore loser, Mayweather responded timely with this. I believe he stands very firm when it comes to a rematch, and I also believe he will retire at 49-0.

Serious hypothetical question, what happens if there is a rematch next year and it looks exactly like the first fight with Floyd winning comfortably?

Gotta agree with Mayweather on this one. Lame @$$ excuse to position their way to a rematch. It'll be the same result, Mayweather will out point Pacquiao - two cautious boxers in the ring. Casuals don't want to see that.

Could have happened last minute of last round .

No sign throughout the fight .

Could be BS surgery PR stunt who knows , because if you research that injury they dont operate that close to when the injury happened because of inflammation , do some unbiased serious research .

Nothing adds up in all of this , no sign before or during or after , could have fell down the stairs in the dressing room after the fight for all we know .
