Comments Thread For: Leo Santa Cruz Denies He Ran From Rigondeaux

Leo Santa Cruz (30-0-1, 17KOs) is looking for new challenges in the featherweight division, and another world title. Santa Cruz captured a world title at bantamweight and still holds the WBC championship at 122.

Santa Cruz made his featherweight debut on the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao undercard with a ten round decision victory over Jose Cayetano.

Since his victory in March over mandatory challenger Cristian Mijares, Santa Cruz has been the subject of criticism over facing when many consider to be overmatched opponents.

This guy is so full of ****. At 122,rigo clowns him,and makes him look like a C rate fighter, and frampton knocks his head off. At 126,mares,Walters,and lomanchenko knock him **** out. Its only a matter of time before he corners himself and has to fight someone with a pulse.

Nah he clearly ran from Rigondeaux. Not that it matters because the fight is a mismatch.

Leo showed In his last fight and his string of last fights that he's not elite. He's a decent fighter but gets smoked out by the top dawgs. How can this guy feel it's alright to fight 7 straight tuneup fights. Leo are u a pu $$y or what? I herd Leo's next opponent is the guy that sells elotes at the Mexican supermarket by my house.

I'm not even mad at him even if he did. I think we all know what will happen if he fights Rigo, what's the point? He should at least fight Mares though. That's an intriguing fight, Rigod is too good for these mere mortals.

Talk is oh so cheap. At 122 the real top dog vs top dog is Framptom vs Rigo anyway, but it would have been an interesting fight to watch mr twitchy hands pressure Rigo.

I used to hate this guy but now I see him as a poor puppet who doesn't dare to say the public that he hasn't got word on his next opponent and Haymon is the cause why he can't fight Rigo. However his talk is still cheap, the best he could do in this situation is not to bulls hitting but stfu or tell the public for once that he can't decide to fight Rigo because it's Haymon's decision.

If LSC hasn't been running away from Rigo, he should be. It's a good thing he's got Haymon to shield him from the actual boxers. For god's sake LSC vs Insurance salesman was the co-main event of the fight of the year, SMH.

Good things happen when you're sucking off Haymon I guess. Thank you Al Haymon.

Rigo chased him to FW, where LSC can duck Walters and Loma instead.
