Despite the flaws I see in Broner, I think he wins a tough fight against Porter. It won't be easy unless Porter has trouble with Broner's handspeed.

We say it time and time again, Broner NEEDS to be busy. His lulls in activity kill him in the ring.

I'm calling it right now. All Broner needs to do is pop that jab over and over again and he'll be just fine and win a wide UD. If Broner sits on the ropes with a high guard like he did against Taylor, that will not work. He needs to stay jabbing the entire fight.

Why is Broner challenging welterweight contenders but only at 144? Doesn't he believe he can beat them at 147? Is he making a new weight class between 140 and 147? It's an even fight but I'll pick Porter. He believes in himself enough to fight 3 pounds below his preferred weight. Broner won't come back to 147 for Khan or Porter. If Broner wants to be a champion he will have to choose 140 or 147. There is no 144 pound world title.
