Comments Thread For: Klitschko-Fury Heading To a Purse Bid, Says Hennessy

According to Mick Hennessy, promoter of Tyson Fury, the mandatory fight against WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is heading to a purse bid. Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) has been chasing the shot against Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) for some time.

The two camps have been talks, with no agreement reached and Hennessy says the date and location is more than likely going to be decided by way of a purse bid. Team Klitschko is going to bid heavy, as they rarely lose a purse bid involving Wladimir. If Klitschko's team comes out on top with the winning bid, Hennessy believes there is still a good chance the fight will happen in the UK instead of Germany.

        Retirement is next!!

Wilder won't fight Wlad or Fury, he's happy enough defending his paper belt against the Carlos Molina's of this world.

What makes you think that Wilder won't fight Fury? Personally, I believe that Wilder K.O.s Fury with the first good punch that hits Fury.

Because his daddy Al Haymon won't let him. Fury is on another level to Wilder, he'd shut him out. As for KOing him with his first punch, Wilder couldn't even stop Charlie Z. Fury also wouldn't get paid to take a dive unlike Wilders opposition.

Wilder's next opponent will be Eric "Who's He" Molina.

              Does that answer your question?

Fury would handle Wilder with ease

Not really as none of Tyson Fury's former opponents are currently ranked in the top ten of BoxRec heavyweights. Fury has followed the path of least resistance, and a fight with Wlad will show that Fury is nothing more than a blowhard - a large blowhard, but a blowhard none-the-less.
