GGG is not going to SMW. None of the money fighters wanted a piece of GGG at SMW, so theres absolutely no reason to leave MW. He's just going to rule MW with an iron fist, and he has said as much.

Look at how quickly Froch ran and ducked GGG, same with Chavez Jr. would rather fight his own promo company and stop boxing than be forced to fight GGG. There's literally no fights for GGG at SMW.

He's just going to keep defending his belts against the best possible opponents.

Has Canelo ever fought in a world title bout at a catchweight?

I still think it's hilarious that GGG beats Geale's ass and then cotto decides to defend against Geale rather than GGG.

          I don't think so.

Cotto should be fighting the #1 contender, I think it's Heiland.

Maybe ending up in a superfight a couple of years down the line if Canelo is able to unify the titles that GGG will vacate when moving up.

After Cotto/Canelo there isn't a bigger fight HBO can make besides Kovalev/Stevenson but what are the chances that gets made? GGG/Canelo is an HBO superfight.

I think it's hilarious that Cotto is expected to fight both Sergio, and GGG whilst Canelo hides at 155lbs. Yeah, let the smaller ex Jr Welter named Cotto, prove he has balls while I hide at 155lbs.

"But Canelo said he will fight anyone doe" Saying you will fight anyone is not the same as actually fighting anyone.
