Floyd was already a disreputable scumbag though, and now people are talking about Manny the same way. To go from an untouchable media darling to being treated roughly the same as Floyd, that is a massive fall from grace.

Boxing just sold 4.4million PPV's at $100 a piece, not to mention the broadcast rights and PPV's from other countries, sponsers, live gate etc.

Boxing is fine. The fight was ****. Everyone will forget about it soon, except for the advertising and TV network execs. They wont forget a payday like that in a hurry.

Boxing might well be the worst run sport in the world, but it still manages to make a lot of people a lot of money.

People aren't talking about Manny the same way. Manny doesn't beat up his wife infront of his kids. Floyd gets shunned by the media for his domestic violence/misogyny...Manny is rightfully being called out by the media for being a sore loser.

Last year Froch and Groves fought in front of 80,000 people at Wembley (incase anyone had forgotten lol), boxing is flying in Japan, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico, Eastern Euro countries are increasingly getting involved in pro boxing etc etc.

The thing about WWE is that all of it is scripted/fake...they don't even hit each other for real. Boxing can't be like that..the hurt here is real, every punch that lands hurts...fighters have been known to take a dive in their bouts, but boxing can;t be scripted.

I bet WWE is as painful as boxing. Especially back in the WWF era.
