Solid, effectively timed and respect demanding shots? Absolutely, Yes.
Hard, powerful or heavy knockout shots? Not really, no.

It is harder to convince someone that Floyd is going to get a KO than it is to convince them that Floyd's shots will end up demanding respect...Put it that way.

He has enough pop to get your attention, sure. He has the timing and accuracy to make you tentative sooner or later. Combine the two and you have somebody who's punches need to be respected. He is not a knockout guy, simply put. BUT make no mistake - the man had Pacquiao eventually flinching. Not reacting to feints or switching to defence...Flinching. That should tell you all you need to know. See Calabis' last GIF in post 162.
you're kidding right? that wasn't a fient, pacquiao's right hand kept mayweather right down

pacquiao made a defensive manuever expecting a right which floyd had all the intention of throwing

And what's that? Punching someone in the face rather than swinging and missing?

Until I finally can say that I'm not just a fan of manny pacquiao, but a true fan of the sport.
I wasn't really planning on going back here on my account after the May 2 fight. Because I was ashamed of pacquiao's performance. And i didn't have the balls to read the criticisms of everyone here regarding it.

To my surprise, when I checked today, people are still supporting him and his team. And even thought that the fight was close. I totally disagree.
Even for a die hard pac fan like me, I had Floyd winning 10 rounds to 2. It could be 9 rounds to 3 if you are being generous.

At the end of the day you can't beat Floyd mayweather like that. At his own phase and at his own game. The reason why people gave pac a chance in the first place was because they thought he'll make it as awkward as possible for floyd by throwing powershots at different angles. None of that happened.
All night he couldn't find mayweather. Mayweather didn't run. Mayweather was relaxed, focus and sharpshooted at any distance he controlled. While pac was frustrated and didn't know what exactly to do. You can't box a masterboxer, you have to used your own specialty, and pac failed to use his.

Im still skeptical about the shoulder injury. But if its true and they'll rematch, no matter how healthy pacquiao is, if he fights that way again, at Floyd's phase. We'll be getting the same result.

Looooool. A "scaredy cat" punch that had #48 all confused swinging at air.

The fact that Pacquiao normally isn't met with right hands when he has guys cornered says it's, quite the opposite. It's unusual to see that get done to Pacquiao. On top of that, you want Mayweather to telegraph against a fighter who, I've continued to express, isn't as easy to hit as people make out?

It's the same type of "scaredy cat" punch that kept your boy scared and tentative all night.

Mayweather has a very long history of dealing with hand problems. He would often receive injections in his hands to deal with the pain.

Roger revealed the information due to the current spotlight being shined on Manny Pacquiao's right shoulder injury.

Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision over Pacquiao on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After the match he disclosed that he suffered a right shoulder injury a month before the contest and then further injured himself during the fight. Pacquiao had surgery last Wednesday.
