Can Mauricio Herrera come back and win a title

My answer is yes, he can beat whoever wins between Bradley and Vargas, he beats Benavidez in a rematch, I think Herrera will be favored when pitted against a Victor Postol or Thomas Dulorme, only Crawford at 140 beats him so far.

Lucas and Danny will never fight him.

Herrera would have a good chance at beating any champion at 140, he's that good.

Bradley & Vargas will surely be at 147? Benevidez doesn't have a real title.

Best chance of a title is if GBP pay Cuenca-Yang winner (IBF) or Postol-TBA winner (WBC) to have a voluntary against Herrera, but I can't see them doing that.

Herreras one of my favorite boxers, but sadly he will continue to be used as a stepping stone for young guns. I have a feeling he will be one of those guys whos body will end up taking a toll and he will get throughly beat by some youngster one day and everyone will say he was never that good and then his controversial losses will all of a sudden be great wins by his past opponents.

It would be nice if Herrera got a good strength and conditioning coach, I think he'd benefit by picking ups some weights and fighting a boxer or 2 he could KO for some power confidence. Volume punchers with little power have it rough in the sport of boxing.

Very sad but likely true. Still one of my favorite boxers right though.

Herrera is so overrated on this forums it's laughable. According to fans, he's been 'robbed' more times than JMM.

If Herrera wants to win fights, he needs to sit down on his punches and do some damage to his opponents. He doesn't do that, though
