Featherweight prospect Oscar Valdez's next fight is set according to his manager, Frank Espinoza.
"He's going to be fighting on June 26th, Hidalgo, Texas," Espinoza told BoxingScene.com on Wednesday afternoon."We don't have an opponent, yet, but he's on a fast pace to being a world champion."
The 24-year old Valdez has a record of 15-0 (14 KO's) and was signed by Top Rank after representing Mexico in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. In his last outing he stopped veteran Jose Ramirez in three rounds. This upcoming bout will be part of the truTV telecast that is being headlined by super middleweight contender, Gilberto Ramirez.
