Maybe reporters and commentators and analysts should stop asking Golovkin about Mayweather and you will never hear that name come from his mouth again. He is not the one who brought up Floyd but people conveniently ignore that. Just as they ignore anything else that does not fit their agenda.
May not end well for GGG...

Does Roy Jones get a ton of respect for going up to fight the weakest heavyweight? And he actually did it it wasn't just talked about~
You actually have to do something to get credit for it, talk is cheap.
He is associating his name with Floyd because Floyd is the super star of boxing,, just because he always plays the villain doesn't make him any less of a star because he is the one generating feelings in people.
GGG is HBO guy, and what is HBO's big kick right now?
Any more excuses, explanations or stories for Golovkin?
I don't know what this has to do with Roy Jones, but yea he does get credit. Still, don't know what that has to do, unless you are saying Froch has been the worst SMW for the last year, all the while Ward was even retired? That's insane.
Froch is freaking strong and bigger than GGG, but thats a worthwhile fight, and good money, and GGG pushed for it. I'm not sure exactly what you are saying upon this point. How can GGG fight people who flat out refuse to fight him?
GGG tried to fight at SMW and they all ducked him. So just keep on cleaning out MW. It's a bit insane to blame GGG for the cowardice of other fighters, for being too good.
No excuses or explanations for what? His record and everyones cowardice speaks for itself. GGG is crunching opponent after opponent. Even world class opponents like Murray, who would've probably beaten Cotto and Canelo.
And GGG has indeed made it. He's the most feared boxer on the planet. And easily one of the most exciting.
He is walking the walk. He's killing everyone they put in front of him, and ducking no man. 10x the man and fighter that FLoyd is.Comment

LOL dude, I don't know what you're trying to say, you're all over the place.

Thanks for that laugh.
Talk is cheap, if he wants credit for going up talking about guys is not the same actually doing it. To me it seems you are giving him victories he hasn't earned based on what you think about situations.
My post went through yours point by point, so if mine is all over the place what does that say about your original point.
All I see is hyperbole and exaggeration on your part. Golovkin hasn't done **** in boxing yet, no one really cares about him nor does anyone recognize him on the street.Comment

I could care less about that, he can say Floyd's name or any name for that matter. It doesn't mean anything though because he is the one that has a lot left to do in the sport, pissing away his time isn't getting that done.Comment

Why would HBO stop asking him about Floyd, they want that false narritive it benefits them.

Add in one party rule (D) with nothing to push back against them or provide different ideas and the die is cast.
Chicago will go bankrupt next~
Anyways, turning to insults is never the sign of intelligence, since you didn't confront what I said and personally attacked me thank you for admitting I was right and can't counter the guy whose intelligence you just insulted~Comment

As Gambler stated above, "talk is cheap." Fighters are being kept away by network/promoter politics and ******ity. Lara is doing the same thing that 3G is doing with Floyd, amusing journalists and keeping their name buzzing by mentioning each other. It really doesn't mean anything if you know all the obstacles that prevent such match-ups from occurring.
What's the reality? GGG is fighting Monroe next, and Lara is fighting Rodriguez.Comment

GGG can be asked/talk about whoever the hell he wants. All that matters is WHO he is fighting and if he went up and fought a bum at 168, it gets more credit than a bum at 160 it's as simple as that. He wants fame/glory and money this is why he is calling out Canelo, Cotto, Floyd and everyone else. Guess what? They do too, and GGG doesn't bring as much as the other names I mentioned. So he'll have to get in line. Continue your ****ing crying b*tch on her period complaining daily tirade, but it's ****** because he should say **** them and move up. Manny jumped up two divisions to face Oscar, GGG can't even move up one? Canelo at 155 is at least in his 3rd division, Cotto's 4th. GGG still just 1, with not an elite or A level name on there.
Paul Williams couldn't get a fight, he moved to 154/160 and fought Martinez. See how easy it is to move up in weight? The issue may not even be GGG, it's HBO and their need to push their agenda ever since Haymon left. Now they feel the need to control everything and make people only look good, if they own them I should say. If you aren't owned by HBO then they make you fight tough fights (Cotto.) The point is he should shut the **** up or move up in weight, till then better get in line. That is boxing and it always has been.Comment
