Hopkins was 36 when he finally got his break-thru vs Trinidad. That win more-less validated his ho-hum run through the MW division prior to Trinidad as being an ATG MW.

Golovkin is similar to Hopkins in that he takes very good care of himself and has developed strong fundamentals and strong and intelligent fighting mentality. He should age well over the next 5 years. Plenty of time for Alvarez, Khytrov, Lemieux, Quillin, Jacobs, Eubank, Charlo's, Derevyanchenko, Wade, Murata, J-Rock, and Spence to develop a reputation and fight Golovkin.

Golovkin and K2 Promotions are doing the best possible job they can do imo. It's not his fault that the best guys in his division don't want to fight him. The losers saying he needs to fight Andre Ward are just obviously desperate to see him lose, the same way Floyd-haters are desperate to see him in with Golovkin. Golovkin clearly wants to fight the best in his division, and even though he hasn't been able to get the lineal champion in the ring yet, he's continued to grow and grow and grow his fanbase. The guy's probably going to bring 12+ thousand into the Forum on Saturday to see him. And this is a guy from Kazakhstan that noone knew a few years ago.

There's always so much negativity aimed at anyone who is doing well. Human nature is truly pathetic.

              Needs 2-3 years? Check.
Needs it to be PPV? Check.
May fight him eventually but not next? Check.
Would rather swerve him cause he's a master boxer? Check.

I know youre a moron, but how do you figure its his fault that these guys want to fight him, but not next? Is he supposed to get them in the ring at gunpoint, ******?

By then GGG is 36+, past his prime, and he's done. Hope it doesn't end that way, buts that's where it's headed.
It's a job, he fights 4 times a year for 4 paydays a year. Is he not supposed to fight them in case one beats him?

Even if Golovkin loses people will still tune in because he's an exciting fighter. It's like Manny Steward said, "knockouts sell".

GGG hasn't even reached his 10 year mark yet. He still has plenty of prime years left.

The cream always rises to the top. Look at Sergio, he had to come up the hard way and started very late but he made it to the top of the mountain.

Golovkin is a coward. How long can he avoid Ward? The hypejob is pushing 40.
