Coming into this weekend, we have a guy named Willie Monroe Jr. who is a nobody to most (no disrespect) and he is challenging one of the most fearsome guys in boxing today. Personally, I think its a bad management move because he does have potential and a guy like GGG could shorten his career, but you got to give a guy props that anxiously steps up at a chance to get some glory when not to many people are lining up to do so.

Name a boxer who beat all odds (besides Buster Douglas) & that took a chance with his career and it paid off HUGE?

This is some loser sentimental type ****. Boxers are ALWAYS daring to be great, for some it works and others it doesn't. You become GREAT by BEATING those they put in front of you simply put.

Monroe is not "daring" to be great. He's just another cherry picked dude that Garbagovkin picked that's made to order.

Aw, c'mon man. We all know GGG only fights tomato cans and bums. He never beat nobody good.

Monroe should have no problem. He's a boxer. He can move and not get hit.

Monroe ain't daring to be great. He's just poorly managed and being fed to the wolves. All professional fighters dare to be great.

Trust me bro, I dont like GGG, check out my other threads and I agree. My point is you have a guy with a somewhat promising career that could get brutalized. Guys that move play into GGG's game, if you notice, everyone that tried to move ends up at the end of his punch.

No, boxers nowadays are mostly about the money sadly. Most undefeated prospects would step aside from GGG or their management would have them step aside. Monroe hasnt fought over 10rds and then signs to fight GGG? C'mon man...
