                lane99; that interviewer is Howard Cowsell, he and Ali could have been a comedy team back then. They were the greatest athlete & sportscaster team ever! Both were loved & hated by millions all over the world.

                    The long pause between "unbelievable" and "magnitude" was him just thinking about how to answer the question, not him not understanding the meaning of magnitude. The second sentence where he talks about the turnout is directly related to the the word magnitude so he understood it.
