Yeah 4.4 million buys with a 100 dollar price tag is pretty nuts. I remember when this fight was at its fever pitch 5 years ago and experts were predicting 3 million buys and that was considered ridiculous.

      One sided snooze fest.
The only people who thought this way were the fans of #48, who are upset that he lost, and casual fans who bought the fight thinking that it would be a slugfest between two limited brawlers like Alvarez and Kirkland.

Anyone who knows anything about boxing and who has ever seen Floyd Mayweather fight knew what kind of fight it would be and how Floyd would win.

The overwhelming majority of the people who bought the fight thought it was a good fight and were happy with the outcome.

Not to mention the fact that they are still counting the numbers in fights that sold 300,000 buys like Pacquaio/Rios and Pacquaio/Algieri.

So does that mean Floyd has the #1 May vs Pac, #2 May vs ODH, #3 May vs Canelo, PPV'S, Jr Middleweight, Welterweight Titles, 1/4 Billion dollar pay day And UNDEFEATED! IMPRESSIVE!!! It just keep getting worse for the Pac-roids See what BOXING SKILLS get you, no face-first Brawler is doing anything like this

Only reason why they say boxing as a sport lost because floyd was declared the winner. If it had Pac as the declared winner it would be a huge lift for the sport.

                Do you really believe that?

Not when the perception was that Floyd had won, the fight would have been marred with controversy and cries of robbery. If Pacquiao had legitimately won, then I'd agree.

lets be real here tho the only people who are complaining about the fight being boring are the same ones that wanted mayweather to lose. even the casual fans all of them wanted mayweather to lose. i bet that is the case in 90%. the thing is while the fight was going on no one was saying this is boring this is boring it was intense regardless and anyone who says different i question their honesty. I could see people getting upset about the holding if u were rooting for manny but just when it got excessive he stopped for a few rounds. i dont know i mean at the end of the day what exactly would of made people happy? if floyd wins that fight anyway other then by knockout people would cry boring. i just think people put so much emotion into manny winning the fight and when he didnt all they had left was their hate and the word boring

it would have been great had mayweather got balls to engage pacquiao in a slugfest...even just for a round like the pac-morales-pac-marquez fight...

It would have been great had Pacquiao let his hands go and learned to cut off the ring....like Jose Luis Castillo.

                      Sadly Manny demonstrated:

                      1. a low boxing IQ,
                      2. an inability to adjust and have a plan B or C,
                      3. no desire to go all out for a KO.
