This is 100% calculated by Arum and Team Pacquiao. If he admits defeat there is no chance of a rematch. If this were a close fight they could have just demanded a rematch and the public might have bought it, but this was a near shutout so they have to figure out a way to spark interest in a 2nd fight. The 7 year old shoulder injury was part of that and so is this delusion of thinking they won.

I can guarantee you that no one on Pac's team including Pacquiao himself thinks they won the fight or even that it was close, this is a ploy to make a 2nd fight. They're going to dial it up as time goes by to try to force Mayweather to accept another fight in the Spring. I think it will work actually, Mayweather is not going to turn down another $100 Million to fight an easy opponent in Pacquaio in the Spring again. It will still do 2.5 million buys. It's still, by far, the biggest fight that can be made.
