SCOTT QUIGG fears a 'Battle of Britain' clash with Carl Frampton may never take place.
IBF super-bantamweight champion Frampton has turned down a £1.5m offer to fight WBA belt holder Quigg.
Bury bruiser Quigg will now make the sixth defence of his title against Spaniard Kiko Martinez at the Manchester Arena on July 18.
Victory could then lead to more negotiations with Belfast's Frampton.
But 26-year-old Quigg says a super-fight between the pair is not guaranteed.
He said: "He's gone hiding from a cheque of £1.5m so, when he sees the performance I put in to demolish Kiko, I think he will be further under that rock.
