Seems like people want Ward and Mayweather to lose so bad that GGG's name is thrown around as if both are ducking him. What if Ward or Mayweather schools GGG, will Kovalev be the next guy Mayweather or Ward faces??
Is GGG, Mayweather and Ward haters last hope?

While I think GGG would likely beat Floyd, the fight is ridiculous, and will never be made. Ward still needs to show what he has left after the serious down time. -
People wanted Mayweather vs GGG because GGG and/or his team said he could come down to 154 to fight for Floyd's belts. If Floyd is giving up the belts then so be it and its understandable that GGG isn't as accomplished but he is one of the most dominant fighters today.
Nobody would ask Kovalev for Mayweather because Mayweather used to be a Super Feather.Comment

GGG is a bit too big for Floyd and way too small for Ward
We need
GGG-Canelo (GGG used to be bigger but they're the same size nowadays... Canelo can't make 154 as an adult)
and
Kovalev-Ward (Ward is a gold medalist at 178 lbs and an inch taller than Sergey, it's ridiculous for him to chase middleweights)Last edited by ////; 05-12-2015, 05:34 PM.Comment

Just remember, most boxing "fans" (what they call themselves at least) hate undefeated fighters and most times hate slick black undefeated fighters. So Floyd and Ward will get hate until the day they die even if they beat king kong and Godzilla in the same night, and even GGG will get hate because he is undefeated. Many of you are probably too young to remember but RJJ used to get ALL the same hate because he was so damn good and SO much better than everyone else. Plus he was black of course and talked a lot of **** which made it worse. My mom said Ali and even SRR got the same exact hate decades ago for all the same reasons basically. Most people hate perfection and hate watching someone who cannot be beaten. They hate them even more when they are arrogant (and black most times unfort). Not trying to make it racial but it is what it is (and I am white by the way). Many people like "human" fighters who have flaws and who come back from adversity. Most hate fighters who are just on another level above the rest and are so good they make great fighters look mediocre (Ward, Floyd, etc.). I think because it makes them realize what they are not and could never be. That is why a lot of guys watch UFC, because as I said before its an "everyman" sport. It makes their fans feel like they could do it and compete and its 'possible' for them. Watching masters/artists like Floyd and Ward make them feel inept and hopelessly unskilled which fuels their hatred for them.Comment
