That's pretty much it. Although without the replay I think it could have done big numbers, maybe around 1.5-1.7 like Klitschk0. But it definitely got a boost from the replay.

Is there a question to who should be the A side in a Cotto/Alvarez fight?

They would have easily done 3 million if that boring ass May/Pac replay wasn't on there.

This is great news. Canelo vs Kirkland was a hell of a fight. Only wish these many people would have tuned in to PBC too. As Figueroa vs Burns was one hell of a fight too.

Yeah right. A fight that everyone has been complaining about as boring as hell and no one wants to ever see again, but yet you claim everyone tuned in Saturday not for Canelo, but to see a stinker of a fight that everyone says watching it one time was quite enough.

I seriously doubt after all the bad press it got many people would of tuned in to watch the replay of the forgettable fight of the century. And if they did they probably would of changed the channel after the 6th rd.

Complain complain complain. That's all you seem to do. You don't have to tune in dude. There are plenty of defensive sparring sessions you can watch on you tube. I'm sure there are gold glove tournaments and amateur competitions you can watch somewhere.

The bout was Alvarez' first fight back on HBO following a nearly three-year hiatus. Absence truly made the heart grow fonder among HBO subscribers, as the live main event drew a staggering 2.146 million viewers, peaking at just under 2.3 million viewers.

just imagine how big it would have been if Manny and Floyd were on the under card. Oh well...Maybe tha can be on the GGG Canelo or Cotto Canelo! fight card!
