Bomber need to fight Wlad so the REAL HW CHAMP can get that green belt ..that's the ONLY strap Wlad hasn't collected...would love to see him capture that belt before he retires...Olympic gold and UNDISPUTED world champ...that's maxing out!!

Standard heavyweight procedure. Get in a position to challenge Klitschko, then tread water until Klitschko picks you to fight him.

Never mind gaining top level experience so you give yourself a better chance of winning.

Check the sports books and get the best available odds about a first round finish. Unlikely it goes further than that.

As to the thread question, I think his team is playing it too safely with Molina as a first defense. They talk about developing him so that he can eventually face Wladimir, but, how does a fight against a third tier opponent like Molina help him to improve??

A better opponent would have been Charr or Browne

Holy kleenex can you all stop crying please. Like you didn't expect his first defence to be an easy one. We knew this was coming. Wilder is grossly inexperienced and Stiverne was his first bit of core HW experience. Let him have a tune up while the #1 and #2 are already booked to fight, and step him up to a bigger threat next fight. I don't see anything wrong with a new champ making an easy defence for his first one and gettin to biz after. Ya'll are just a bunch of complainers.

****ty fight, but I'll be there. Its only a 3hr drive, I like Deontay, and got a lotta family in Birmingham. So I'll make a weekend of it.
