It will be in Vegas. The money will be bigger there and Cotto didn't have a problem with the venue the last two times he stalled and killed the fight.
According to Dan Rafeal there is an offer sheet already agreed to provided that Cotto wins his next fight so it will happen.

That's what they said about the negotiations for May, how'd that turn out? I'm pretty sure Cotto is taking Canelo's offer serious, it doesn't mean he isn't talking to Floyd like he was last time as well. There's not enough information to guarantee they fight each other next and Canelo's team only announce that they agree with their own terms. I'm not holding my breath for Cotto/Canelo just yet.

Because maybe cotto has always wanted to fight canelo. But you canelo fans are so hung up on canelo's balls that you can't see common sense.

Its really simple. Canelo wanted that cinco de mayo date that he knew he wasn't gonna get. Again, cotto would only fight on cinco de mayo if it were vs floyd, because competing ppvs is not a good business move, something that ODH & canelo seem to think it is. Cotto fights in texas, he gets lions share... seems like ODH & company didn't want that.... "canelo the a side doe".
