Added to that, Canelo gave Kirkland his respect. Unlike the morons on here who think Kirkland is a JMW version of Rod Salka, Canelo was in the ring with him and knew Kirkland is no easy task for anyone.
Gave him his respect before and after the fight. Classy guy.

Everything about Canelo is class and what boxing should be about. However not the first time I've seen fighters concerned for the other man. Personally I love when two guys beat the crap out of each other and hug at the start of the 12th like Fig and Burns yesterday.

Yeah, I've seen boxers, most recently Hardcore Mansour, celebrate and clown with the crowd, as their KO'd opponent is laying there half dead, being worked on by paramedics. He showed concern for Kirkland's safety, and asked him if he was okay, very classy.

i don't consider it classy because he simply did what he was supposed to do. He gets no credit from me whatsoever.

Sorry but standing over your opponent while he's unconscious doesn't strike me as classy. It actually struck me as distasteful. It looked to me that he was admiring his work.

Now after Kirkland woke his ass up, Canelo seemed to be a little classier. However, asking a man that you just knocked out (during his press conference) if he's ok looks kinda suspect as well.

Canelo also wasn't respectful towards TBE during the buildup to their fight.

                    Classy was SHANE MOSLEY.
