I think Lee is too sloppy to beat Canelo. Canelo favors precision punching with bad intentions and I think he would be the one winning by KO off a counter punch this time instead of Lee's recent KO victories.

Canelo stops him somewhere in the mid rounds, and no I'm not saying Canelo is this monster puncher either before the usually ****head replies with that. Canelo will get past the jab and work his counters.

@sly I can agree. It also may look like Quillen vs Lee due to Canelo lack of punch output although I think it'd get better at 160. Canelo is the better counter puncher but I think Lees a good welcoming to 160.

Canelo does what Quillin is unable to do to Lee - finish him off.

Yeah but quillin punches much harder than canelo even if he's a terrible finisher. To me Canelo wins a wide UD.

Canelo out-boxes him handily. Probably stops him around the 8th or 9th but the longer he waits to pour it on the more dangerous Lee gets.

Booth has improved Lee defensively, mainly by getting him to put his weight on his rear foot and lower his centre of gravity, but he's still relatively easy to touch. I think Canelo's on a different level as a boxer and would easily out-land Lee in every round. It's a question of whether or not Canelo can soak up the big counter that would land at some point. Boxers who leave Lee hanging around tend to pay a price for it. It's the opponents who press Lee that he's really uncomfortable with.

@natas I agree Canelo would go for the kill the only problem is, is Lees most dangerous when he's hurt and he's rushed. He has an awkward downward right hook that catches guys coming in and a short fighter like Canelo could get clipped. Either way I think it's a good welcoming fight at 160 pre-GGG.
