    Wilder to face Eric Molina??

Bum Squad!!!!!!!! Squad up!!! Are you kidding me Eric Molina who isn't even a good club fighter is going to be a first defense. Did Shannon Briggs demand more than 100K for a title shot?

Not a good fight... Maybe if it was free on Pbc and it was a fight/opponent to get casuals hooked on wilder, but having it on showtime- no thanks

I wouldn't be too upset, he just won the title. If he wants a mandatory defense then go at it. Just hold up to your word saying you want a busy 2015.

The #1 and #2 guys in the WBC are facing off so if Wilder doesn't face the winner of Povetkin-Perez after this fight (if true) then he better be facing Klitschko or Fury.

Anyone else after a optional defense is going to look like **** and gain all the negative critics back that he lost after outboxing Stiverne.

It is his first title defense, he should get a easy one. GGG and most of the other champions did the same thing.

Hopefully THE heavyweight champ can return after this rugged tough fight sometime in 2016 against rough rugged heavyweight title world championship World boxing Council Premier boxing champion contender Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola.

Short of WBO title shots back when the WBO was viewed as a minor belt I can't think of anybody worse than this opponent. I read that Chazz Witherspoon was scouted for this spot. He would be a prime Mike Tyson compared to Eric Molina.

If people were expecting Wilder to fight the best in the division and break the habit of a lifetime just because he acquired a belt, well then i don't know what to tell ya.

Well obviously Briggs even at 43 is too big of a threat for Wilder with his punch and iron chin so I figured he would take a soft touch. I don't think he's afraid of Briggs but he understands it's a very high risk and a low reward to fight Briggs.
