    Tyson vs Floyd (Defensive wise)

I personally think Tyson has a much better defence then Floyd IN HIS PRIME. Everyone overlooks and forgets his great defence because he had an EVEN GREATER OFFENCE!

You put a video of Floyd at 38 years old to compare. Pretty ****** imo. Floyd in his prime was a defensive wizard and didnt hold as much. Dont forget that when Tyson stepped up his competition he looked very easy to hit and got ktfo more than once. Floyd's never even been down.

I'm a big fan of Tyson. I hate that you created such a silly thread.

Defense is Floyds on strength where as Tyson had other strengths like good power. Young Tyson was hard to hit but wasn't a one trick pony.

Floyds defense is probably the best of this era.

U can count on one hand how many proper shots floyd has taken and he still didn't go down or even seemed troubled for long
                Tyson was evasive
                Floyd is a defensive wizard

Don't worry. The OP is just venting, which is one of the stages of grief. Denial and deflection being others we've seen this week. It'll pass. LOL

The fact the only thing people can do is pinpoint certain big shots Floyd has taken in a 19 year career says everything to me. Most elite fighters have taken more big shots in 1 or 2 fights than he has in his career.
