    Canelo Alvarez may be moving toward a fight with middleweight champion Miguel Cotto, but that doesn’t mean that he and his team feel that they are also ready for a bout with 160-pound destroyer Gennady Golovkin.

    Perhaps that’s because Cotto is a small middleweight, someone who came in at 155 pounds for his win over Sergio Martinez and who will be defending his championship against Daniel Geale this June at a contractual catch-weight of 157 pounds. Golovkin, meanwhile, has long been a part of the division.

                      lol sure you do oscar sure you do. Oscar obviously is avoiding making that fight like the plague and i get it. The thing is canelo could make ggg meet him at 155 i get it the cotto fight makes more sense but i have wanted to see canelo ggg since ggg bursted onto the scene. I think it would be amazing and i give canelo a real chance

                                  Agreed, these are 2 guy who are on top and prime right now. The Cotto fight is so desired because its a big money PR-Mex fight but GGG-Canelo is a much better fight
