  • what was the ref on in the ricky burns fight?

touching and ******ing the boxers all the time! he's like an octopus.

    It was disgraceful.

You can't continuously grab a fighters arm and throw it out of the way, you just can't. What happens if you grab a fighters arm and in the process he gets hit with a huge shot while defenceless?

One of the worst ref performances I have seen.

He was doing his duty for texas, protecting the new Jaun Diaz.

Absolutely terrible! He should be banned for grabbing his arm like that all the time. Shocking!

It was the “great” Laurence Cole. He could mess up anything.

I've actually seen fights where refs did that before. I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. Referees should be reviewed and critiqued after each fight (if they aren't now).

Omar has brittle hands -- that is why he went for an inside brawl, while throwing a very limited amount of power punches. This kind of tactics forced Burns to hug a lot. Figueroa paid no attention to defense, as he knew that Burns has little punching power... The fight was very boring.
