Fury didn't get on his bike. He was working on different things wth his new coach Peter at the time. Johnson literally gave him nothing to worry about.

Johnson won't do such a thing, because he's got a bit of a red mist about him when he gets in the ring. My guess is Johnson will hardly land a shot for 4-5 rounds and will get stopped on the ropes after a Joshua flurry.

It's not really an achievement and it probably will happen. Johnson makes a big deal out of having fought Vitali and Fury and Chisora etc. if you look at those fights, none really tried to knock him out. Chisora tried a little bit but he's not got much power. Vitali and Tyson were both happy to box behind the jab.

Joshua is a completely different fighter. People will say Johnson is old etc, but I think Joshua would whoop and stop any version of Johnson in all honesty.

Johnson is a total bum! He throws 6 punchers per bout - Zumbano is tougher!! Sorry, I just can't stomach Johnson's style. His pattern is he talks tons of **** and then does nothing in fights. NOTHING. F-that bum

While it's true that Johnson just comes for a paycheck these days, I think it's way too early for a Thompson or Jennings. WAY too early.

Johnson will give Joshua rounds, and that's just about the most valuable thing for a hard-hitting prospect who KOs all his opponents early. Going the full 10/12 with Johnson is exactly what Joshua needs.

I am. I look forward to Anthony splitting through his guard and putting him on his fat ass.

"I've got the antidote for this guy. I know what I've got to do to stop this guy. This will be the MEANEST fight anyone has seen."

Rofl @ Safety Pin. You gotta laugh at the guy, he's like an intelligent Tyson Fury when it comes to selling fights. Truth be told he dont even need to, his career is basically based on going 36minutes shelled up against Vitali, when your stand out achievement is based on taking a hiding like he did its pretty pathetic and you really have no right to claim you'll be beating an olympic gold medalist on the run Joshua is on. I can't argue it won't be the 'meanest' fight ever, its gonna be like watching those one sided GGG fights only, meaner. This match up is strictly for the sadists, it won't be a fight, more of a killing.

If it goes beyond 4-5 I expect Johnson to be feeling more sorry for himself than Briggs was holed up in his bed after Vitali had sodomised his poor ass.

I'll never forgive Johnson for the piece-of-shit way in which he wound up being the one to end Vitali's KO streak. Travesty. I wouldn't have minded if it was Briggs, because he at least tried throwing something and standing in front of the big guy, but Johnson's "fighting" style was and is repulsive.

Great point lol. I don't resent those guys too much, Vitali was slowing at that point anyway, by the time he faced guys like Chisora his body was literally coming apart, I suppose that must have been the point David Haye decided he wanted a part of him, but was still a little reluctant and arranged to fight Chisora instead hoping Vitali would age some more and he could come back around to that potential fight. I expect Vitali would have KO'd the Brit anyway, Haye looked to be blowing before Chisora quit, had Chisora trained for that fight he could have got the job done himself.

Johnson and Briggs aren't too dissimilar. They don't come to win, they turn up for the cheque. Briggs represents zero threat to Wilder or the champion as he didnt represent a threat to Vitali four years ago, it's a shame we had to see him beaten in the ring like he was for it to signal the end of his career at contender level.

I was surprised by Briggs ability to take what Vitali was serving out at that stage, it was a pretty brutal fight, I admired his durability, perseverance and strength, the officials should have made a sensible decision in stopping the fight though, he endured far too much that night and clearly the sustained beating has had an adverse effect.
