Comments Thread For: 50 Cent Wants James Kirkland Back With Ann Wolfe

Much has been made of James Kirkland’s latest parting with longtime trainer Ann Wolfe. The junior middleweight had left Wolfe once before and had lost to Nobuhiro Ishida by shocking first-round technical knockout in April 2011. And he left Wolfe again prior to his bout with Canelo Alvarez this past Saturday, which ended with Alvarez scoring an emphatic third-round KO.

Afterward, Kirkland’s co-promoter, rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson of SMS Promotions, said he wants his fighter to return back to where he found his greatest success. [Click Here To Read More]

After that knockout, there's no point. He's done.

Is she like King Kai, she got Senzu beans in the corner too? It's ridiculous, it wouldn't have made a difference.

He needs a serious brain scan (or several) and long period of recovery before he even considers returning to any form of boxing. Kirkland has taken a lot of hard blows to the head.

Kirkland should've had a few tune up fights before they fed him to Canelo

The missing ingredient from Kirkland has always been Wolfe. He never lost a fight with her in his corner, not that it would have made a difference with Canelo but his chances would have been so much better.

WILL she take him back ? She can put Mandingo back into the grind and get the best from him without a doubt.

Take some time off, grab a cherry pick and get back into the frey .

Fifty should have thought of this before signing the fight with Canelo but he's money hungry and want promoter publicity. Hell, Kirkland's been off a year and a half. Any smart promoter would have had him fight cherry picks b4 a Dangerous Canelo war. Now he's damaged goods and 50 wants him back with Wolfe. Wolfe will not take him back now. Too much damage. Too late for a wise decision. Too bad for Kirkland. This never would have happened if he was with Hayman
