      This is how it goes.

Alexander loses big time to Shawn Porter.

Kell Brook fights the winner of that fight and is a massive underdog, and wins.

Amir Khan fights the loser and is a favourite and wins.

Khan gets more credit for beating a much worse fighter.

That's how it was in the real world.
That's Brook fans reaching for straws trying to connect two independent events. Alexander losing to Porter doesn't make him a bad fighter. Don't pretend as if that is the only good name he ever fought. Devon has beaten some really good names himself where as Alexander himself is the only one that stands out on Porter's resume. Also Alexander didn't just fight Khan right after Porter, but got a win in between.

If you think Khan got more props that's probably cuz he was believed to be very close to a May-Pac fight and the dominant fashion he did it in. 12-0

Oh and it's cute that Brook took a challenge in his career and traveled. Khan's been doing that before the Magna Carta.

He took clean punches from Jones for 4-5 rounds because he was completely gassed. Didn't do a stanky leg or ran or anything like that. He ****** it up like a man should. With regards to Senchenko, he wasn't "rocked" he was buzzed. Knocked him out something like 40 seconds later. Not a big deal.

I'll be worried when he starts taking soft shots and starts doing a bamby on ice dance like another guy I can think of.
I didn't say he'd been down several times, I said 'I've seen him hurt a few times and go down before, but I think his chin is decent enough'...

Jones buzzed him a couple of times, the reason is irrelevant. I was just mentioning the occasions I've seen him hurt. But yes, it was nothing major. Senchenko made him do a mini dance, I call that getting rocked, buzzed would be what Jones done to him.

Anyway this is all a bit pedantic, the point was I've seen him hurt a few times but there's nothing wrong with his chin from what we've seen so far.

No, but it clearly makes Alexander a worse fighter than Porter He got beaten pretty badly by Porter.. Yeah, Alexander he won a UD against a journeyman fighter in between. Porter viciously brutalized a two weight world champion who arguably had beaten an undefeated Broner in his previous fight to that.

Brook's win over Porter was heaps better than Khan's win over Alexander. But Khan did get more credit for that win. Look at how Sky hyped it up - even placed it as #2 win of the year just below Froch over Groves. I mean, how ******ed is that?

Took a challenge? He'd been begging for a fight like that for 4 years prior, only prevented by injury to do it. Still better than anything Khan has done since Maidana.

People severely overrating Kell Brook, he was getting hit clean by lefts from NO NO Dan, wait till Manny explodes on his face. Going life and death with Carson Jones is laughable.

Boxing doesnt work like that, Porter was lucky to get a draw against a Julio Diaz who was coming off a loss vs Khan. Same Porter who didn't have a knockout in nearly two years before fighting a washed up Paulie. Porter's power is so overrated, he's very aggressive and strong but doesn't have one punch ko power.

Hang on a minute. Boxing doesn't work like that? So if two people fight and one gets brutalized, the other guy isn't better? What kind of ******ed logic is that?

Porter got a draw vs Diaz just before Diaz fought Khan (and nearly beat him and had him running for dear life) and then corrected it in the rematch straight after to prove he had an off night.

Whoever said he had one-punch power? I certainly didn't.

                  Khan fans...

Getting dropped by Willie Limmond (and only getting up thanks to a long count) is laughable. Getting dropped by Michael Gomez is laughable. Getting badly dropped by career lightweight in Diaz is laughable. Getting flattened by Breidis Prescott in 30 seconds is laughable.

Brook did gas against Jones and had to tough it out, yeah, but he did it and got the win while learning from it and correcting his stamina issues.

Going life and death and being put down and stopped by such legends as Julio Diaz, Breidis Prescott, Willie Limond, Lamont Peterson however, is top notch.

Porter is a very good fighter, he gives anyone at 147 a tough fight. Kell's wins over him is underrated.

Also I had Porter beating Diaz 7-3 in the first fight.
