I don't know about Kirkland that well, but can't believe how bad he looked to the point that it seemed fishy
He has 0 defense, appeared wide open all night, doesn't have basic skills like learning to hold when needed and overall seemed like a paid off fighter who was told to get KOed or something.

James was out of his depth. On his night he can beat fighters like Angulo and always has a punchers chance but his biscuit chin and lack of skill will be his downfall against someone like Canelo.

I thought if he grew into the fight he would get better but he never got chance. He's just not on that level. A guy who got KO'd against Ishida, has a trainer who has never trained a pro fighter and hasn't fought for 18 months probably has no business in there with Canelo.
