      Kirkland shouldn't be fighting , he soundslike he has permanent brain damage . If be surprised if this fight went the distance . Kirkland has an unknown trainer reminiscent of Gerald McClellan ridding himself of the greatest trainer of all times, Emanual Louis

                I agree, and if nothing else, Kirkland should not be fighting at this level given his long absence in the ring. How was this fight even sanctioned? Following his long layoff from the ring, Andre Ward chose a specific opponent (Paul Smith) that was the appropriate opponent following a long layoff. Kirkland was absent from the ring almost as long as Ward, but instead he fights Alvarez in his return bout. It makes no sense what-so-ever.

                  Sure, first get a respected doctor to take an MRI and recommend/follow through with surgery and subsequent rehab and then I'll believe it was serious enough to possibly impact the fight.
