Watch Rigo/Amagasa. Rigo ducked and pivoted and Amagasa caught him on his way up and put him on his back.

    It's nothing but excuses.
Uppercut where? you'll hit the top of his head at best, not to mention you cannot throw anything else or youll rabbit punch him.

So you agree that turning your back should be ok because a wide hook can hit the chin even with the guy turned completely around.

And rigo did not get Knocked down while he was bent really low, he was standing almost str8 up at that point. So its ok to turn your back because you can pivot out of it and get caught?

I gotta go but this is one explanation below.

      http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Rules_of_Boxing

You can't hold your opponent and hit him at the same time, or duck so low that your head is below your opponent's belt line.

here is a video that explains it why you shouldn't duck below the waist. He is saying similar to what I said.

That's an amateur boxing video dude. Lol. Show me where a ref deducted points for ducking a punch.

Boxingy rules are a guide to protect a fighters safety. You have to use common sense. Nobody in their right mind is taking points away for ducking a ****ing punch.

Floyd bending at the waist is a totally normal defensive move and it can be countered as well, watch Rigo get caught and dropped against Amagasa, it was cuz he ducked and he couldn't see so he came up and a right hand was waiting for him, Pacquiao didn't caputalize and he lost. Period!
So what if you keep turning your back and then pivoting and throwing punches over and over?

That's the whole point. You catch him on his way up.

It looks impossible to deal with because Pacquiao has no jab, go watch the DLH fight, he had success making it more of a non factor. Cotto popped Mayweather a decent amount of times when he came up too. Pacquiao is simply too limited for Mayweather, especially for Mayweather.

4:19, Cotto had quite a bit of success actually.

Whitaker vs Roger Mayweather is a good one too. Rog discouraged him from ducking low early in the fight.

So turning your head should be allowed. Because you have to catch a guy who turns his back, when he's turning back around?

The whole point is when at the point of ducking that low, there is nothing to hit but the back of the head.
