I'm turning in my scorecard after watching the replay of May-pac for the 1st time

Getting people to agree on similar scores on this fight is hard.
Getting people to agree on who won, however, is easier to do.

Honestly, this fight is closer than what one of those judges had, Manny did better than that for sure, but Floyd was the winner. Manny was only successful in rare moments, backed off when he hurt him and was visibly tentative for large portions. Yes he was the aggressor for large parts but he was barely effective. Like I said, he was too tentative to get off anything great. You can look aggressive all night, but if you are in fact tentative at the same time then it results in the type of aggression that plays into the hands of Floyd, literally.

It isn't hard to understand this. I love Manny's fights, but he lost last week. Be it his injury, Floyd being superior or both...He lost and some guys need to accept that.

And I am not one of those guys that thinks a round is automatically Floyds unless he is dominated, as it seems some people are. I am pretty neutral about this whole May-Pac situation, I just think some people need to let go of the idea of Manny deserving to win because he was coming forward.

How in the world are you the aggressor when you throw less punches than your opponent? That makes 0 sense. Manny did next to nothing. He looked like he just showed up for a pay check.

It was garbage because Manny didn't hold up his end of the bargain. He hardly threw punches...which is a credit to Floyd because he made Manny tentative and scared to throw.

This fight was even remotely close and no amount of revisionist history can change that fact. Floyd basically shut Pac out with a boxing clinic for the ages. There's no way one could score more than three rounds for Manny Pacquiao. The only decisive rounds he won were the times he flurried against Money along the ropes in the 4th and 6th rounds.

However, what really stood out in this fight was the shocking fact that Floyd was so much faster than Manny. While given that Pacquiao is the naturally lighter and quicker man; He missed so many punches and was reduced to landing only single ones at a time. Which was largely due to his inability of cutting off the ring against the naturally heavier, slower, older and a no legs having moving Mayweather.

Moreover in the center of the ring, he hardly threw any punches at all because Floyd was timing and beating him to the punch at will with fast jabs. Also, once he did get into punching range Money would nail him with quick lead and pull right hand counters.

In addition, where were all those five and six punch combinations we are so accustomed to seeing Manny landing against common opponents, which he often tends to throw from different angles? They were con****uously absent because Mayweather neutralized them.

Floyd fought like he always does.

It was Manny who was supposed to overwhelm his "old legs" with volume and lightning fast combinations. Instead he was rendered completely ineffective and turned into a clueless, non-punching bore.

There is no case for a draw man.none this fight was not even close. Manny was hitting air all night.he had a couple of good moments and that was it.you can not even post more then 5 or 6 gifs of Manny landing good shots

You can say both guys only had a couple of good moments. Only difference is Mayweather did just enough to more to win the rounds.

The fight was extremely hard to score, do you just score it for Floyds range finder weak jab? the activity was so minimal, do you give Credit to Floyd for landing shots on Pacs gloves while Pac had his glove near his face?

Floyd fans are the saddest, they act like this was an azz whooping, the one judge who had it 118-110 had me shaking me head, I had it 7-5 for Floyd, but most people thought it was a draw around me.

It was a disappointed fight, and win for Floyd, his father wanted him to outdo Marquez and Morales but doing a sensational combo punch win similar to how he beat Gatti, Pac was ready to be taken out, he was a dead goose but Floyd hesitated, I believe Floyd was scared of Pacs power, I underestimated Pacs power big time, he hurt Floyd in the fight while Floyd couldnlt hurt him.

All in All its not a win to boast about, its like Pac fans if they were to boast about his win over Marquez in the 3rd fight, its a weak win and any fan of Floyd should be disappointed he is the man who controls the fight, yet didnt finish the show with action and long reach combos, he had the clear reach advantage.

I was embarrassed for boxing that night.
