But Kirkland is the god damn boxing reincarnation of the terminator. He ALWAYS gets back up. Even against Ishida he could of gotten back up and continued. We don't know if Canelo can 12 full rounds of all out war or if he can even take the power of someone like James.

That's why this fight is so mouth watering. It's gonna get violent and we going to see if Canelo can give as good as he takes.

Because of how Canelo handled another "Terminator" pressure fighter in Perro, I am tempering my enthusiasm for a drag out war. That will not be Canelo's gameplan at all. He's gonna stall Kirkland momentum ,constantly making him reset, with jabs and leads. Canelo not exactly light on his feet, but he's a good judge of distance. That paired with accuracy, timing and power could very well make Kirkland gunshy and treading water.

How much of Angulo looking shot was Angulo...and how much of it was Canelo? Angulo is prone to being outboxed..Cintron outboxed a prime Angulo.

Anyway, the similarities of the two fighters , Kirkland and Perro, are broad enough that I am confident in my prediction of how the fight will go.

The way I see it, if Ishida can knock out Kirkland then so can Canelo.

But then you could say if Cotto's washed up lightweight brother could put Canelo in serious trouble, so could Kirkland. But both these scenarios aren't always ominous signs as each fight has a different set of dynamics.
