The Las Vegas Review-Journal is Nevada's most trusted source for local news, Las Vegas sports, business news, gaming news, entertainment news and more.

The commission will be very busy in the weeks ahead. Next Friday, there are proposed changes to the NAC’s rules regarding drug use and there will be proposals to toughen the penalties for violators.

Next month, the commission is expected to have boxer Manny Pacquiao appear to explain why he may have perjured himself on his prefight medical questionnaire prior to his fight last Saturday against Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand Garden.

Pacquiao fought with an injured right shoulder and was seeking to have an anti-inflammatory shot administered prior to entering the ring. The commission denied Pacquiao’s request, claiming he indicated on his form that he was not hurt. Pacquiao lost a 12-round unanimous decision to Mayweather. Wednesday, he had surgery in Los Angeles to repair a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder.

Brady said the Pacquiao incident and the aftermath may have been the final straw for him.

“I know this man, he has always been an honorable person,” Brady said of Pacquiao. “I find it offensive that he’s being sued and ridiculed. It truly breaks my heart.”

Toughening drug rules before talking to Pacquiao? Pacquiao failed a test.

What's with your sig? You have a gif of Pacquaio throwing a horrendously slow right hook with the caption "My right arm was injured doe".

Is that punch supposed to be evidence that he was on fire or something? He looks terrible and possibly injured there.

I'm honestly surprised at how many of the Floyd fanbase even have internet access. Must be some government outreach program.

Pssst...its in slow motion...and its the fact that its a wide hook, which would cause more stress on the shoulder.

Still can't get over being trolled huh? I ain't sweating Pac's loss, I made money on the fight. Why do you think I don't put "Flroid" in my posts now? If I were bitter, wouldn't I be raging on the guy like you dudes are about Pac? It's because I was playing your own game prior to the fight. Fight's over so is the heavy troll game.

As to this guy resigning....he does it right after the fight, come on, don't be naive.
