Maidana had problems as soon as Mayweather started to hold. Algieri didn't hold at all.

Holding and running is what is being highlighted by Holyfield here, read the article he penned on it I linked and you'll understand his perspective.

Enough is enough.. It's not even funny anymore.
Tell your man Evander, or maybe you don't think he's earned his opinion.

      HE RAN

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Noone wants to hear it.

People are so butt hurt because Pacquiao was incapable of doing what everyone thought he could do to Mayweather, they were fooled.

Enough is enough.. It's not even funny anymore.
Actually, its Floyd fans that do not want to hear it but lets face it, even casual fans know the truth let alone boxing legends like Holyfield.

Floyd knows what he can get away with and does it every single chance he can get. I said this before that fight that it would happen and it did.

Last Saturday it was a combination of hugging, running and bending below the waist.

Holyfield is right I Blane judges and referees for continuously allowing this. There is a reason Kenny Bayless refs every Floyd because he allows it. I've seen him give multiple warnings in the Maidana fight with no point being deducted. If refs would start taking points this will stop. Continuous holding is against the rules of boxing. Holyfield is right, its sad that boxing has come to this.
          Boxing is just fine.

Its sad what the Pacquiao fanbase has reduced themselves to.

I finally realized today why his fans identity themselves with him.

And its not because they're "Warriors"

Classless, sore losers, cowards, weak minded people. They share the same traits

Holyfield speaks the truth about boxing today, too much safety first defense, Fighting is not running or holding, its HITTING and punching, if you want to use the moving style use the real essence the Stick and move, prime Ali combos while backing up no pot shots, just throwing and throwing and moving and throwing, the hit and not get hit means HIT FIRST, and hit again, not hold when dude gets in close, I thought Floyd would have the inside game on lock but he clinched up over 30 times in that fight, anytime Pac would get in he grabbed and held until the ref broke it, Bayless also took a longer time than he usually does to break a clinch, he should have penalized that.

The Klitschko fights are boring as well, Wlad is boring he gets away with that grab tactics and hit and hold, he does this because he has a horrible gas tank, Floyd and Wlad fight very similar now as they got older they spend less energy and grab and hold a lot.

I strongly believe Bernard Hopkins is the best of our era, he combines all the craftiness but he went through phases and at 50 years old he is fighting more exciting and facing younger strong foes half his age, and proving a point, like in the Kovalev fight he was out gunned but he tried to set traps he didn;t need to hold and grab on the dude, he was playing chess but his opponent was just one step ahead of him and not falling for his traps.

I remember a ref I dont remember what fight it was paused the fight and threatened to take half the fighters purse or dq them if they didnt exchange blows, they need to add something like that.

Holyfield shares the same mentality as I do, we give credit to Floyd for getting away with things, and being a sneaky guy and master strategist outside the ring, he is smarter than others because he knows how to pick the guys and fight the guys at the right time and really study and analyze the things he can get away with.

But stuff like that hurts boxing, Also for once I agreed with Floyd Sr, he said he wasn't really impressed with his sons performance he wanted his son to really go for the jugular and take Pac out and beat the breaks off him. Make a statement, but Floyd has said it before its about hiim first and nobody else.

I dont respect the opinion of people who dont even bother to look at stats

And those are honestly the same people that say 'Pacquiao won'

Like Skip Bayless and Holyfield. Even though Skip is paid to say what he says but I'll still let y'all have that one too
