I did dumbass, Floyd and Manny's fight had little holding, he's trying to throw that fight in there like they're part of the problem. Anyone who watches an ounce of boxing knows that the real problem is the HW division, he just threw these 2 dudes in there cause he's salty as hell.
I don't think he's salty, he seems way too chilled out for that.
Anyway, I think this might be the video they're talking about, from memory the holding was pretty bad the first half of the fight then with repeat warnings from Bayless Mayweather stopped doing it:

Holyfield used to hug as much as Mayweather did for 12 rounds in 1 round.Comment

Its Floyds job to WIN the fight.
Why does he have to completely disregard who he is and what made him to please some neck beard internet trolls who hate hbis guts?
You guys want him to fight like a raging idiot so he can lose. Who are you kidding. Hes been boxing for 19 years. He DID NOT fight with this style his whole career.
But but Floyd aint 39 doe
But but he aint got bad hands doe
But but he aint been boxing since 96 doeComment

I dont care what fighter does it, always been against it.
Excessive clinching should not be left only to a referees discretion, it doesn't work, and we have fights to prove it. Watch Wlad. K. last performance
.
This is the reason why.
1. IF A fighter gets trapped against the ropes, it should be his job to work his way out again.
2. Clinching every time a fighter traps you against the ropes is cheap exploitation, the REF does the work for you and BAILS you out. It is not his job to bail him out, that is for the fighter.
3. Clinching should only be used when a fighter is visibly hurt.
Basically there's a loop hole that's being exploited.
The way clinching is allowed to be exploited, it removes one of the essential aspects of BOXING, INSIDE FIGHTING. The referee bails out the fighter who clinches, throwing away all the hard work that was done to put him on the ropes by his opponent.
If you re-evaluate, look at how much fighters clinch, 50+ to 80+ a fight????? It's ridiculous!Last edited by ElMeroChingon; 05-08-2015, 12:11 AM.Comment

So because he provided his opinion, as a professional fighter, and he mentions Pac-Floyd among 3 fights (2 being HW matches)... it means he's salty as hell towards Floyd? How the hell do you draw that conclusion?
He brought up some very valid points that a lot of people have pointed out. But it's easier to brush most of them off as 'casuals'. Can't do that with Evander though.
I guess he should apologize for wanting to see more out of high profile fights beyond guys running and hugging.Comment

Yup, it was embarrassing. I was watching Jimmy Fallon show the other night. All he said that he saw was a hug fest. Not the only one to say that.Comment

They are pretending like thy dont understand why Floyd doesnt fight like Brandon Rios.
Notice how not ONE of them will dare comment on what Pacquiao couldve done to negate Floyd and win the fight.
Because they are not true fans.Comment

That's what Manny did many times. But Floyd either threw a punch and then head locked him, ran away from the ropes or went into full clottey mode like your gif shows. Floyd's a cowwwaaaaarrrrdddd. He's not greater than Ali and never will be. Ali KO'ed beast foreman, Floyd ran away and played tag with a one arm smaller pacquiao hahahahahaha.Comment
