I agree with your general sediments. Lets go ahead and keep something in mind however; He's been fighting guys who:

A.) Make too much noise pounding the pipes with wrenches during the day, and have gone deaf as a result not being able to hear the bell ring in between rounds.

B.) Are really too tired to fight because they spend the entire day riding a bicycle on a paper route.

C.) Should be fighting a few weight classes above when they actually drink water, and their weight centered around how many doughnuts and toaster strudels they can force down their esophagus.
