I see nothing wrong with this training method. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. These guys aren't forced to stick around with her, last time I checked they're free men; not ******. Maybe there's some BDSM (D/s) relationship going on? Can't blame dem boyz, shes a real dominant Mistress to serve.

To build mental toughness you have to inconvenience yourself:
The early morning runs, if you hate early morning. The late night runs, if you hate late night.
The snowy, cold, the worst conditions you can get, put yourself in those and really make it inconvenient, and you start to get a genuine expectation of winning for the price you had to pay.

I couldnt train with her. Not my style at all. It figures this is how she'd go about training it's always the one's with the biggest mouth that have to do outrageous things that are compensating for something. In her case it's the fact that she's a woman and she may feel she won't get the respect of her peers if she doesn't act this way. I doubt she was trained this way.

Looks like a decent way to catch yourself an injured fighter in my opinion. Looks as though a lower back or shoulder injury is very possible.

Any man who lets others treat him like that is not a man imo, I don't care if it's my trainer or my fkn missus no one is gonna throw sh** at me in that manner especially for other people and now the world to witness it..that has nothing to do with training that's 100% downgrading a fellow human being

***in idiots, at least Kirkland had the sense to get the *** out of there.

Those guys need to wise up and get a new trainer ASAP.

Trainers like Wolfe used to exist in all sports, and they were ran out of all those sports for the same reasons:

                      (1) After the initial conditioning gains from the massively increased workload, the athlete's development tended to stop because those trainers had no systematic understanding of the athlete's physical development. They only understood two modes - 'in shape' and 'not in shape'.

                      (2) Performance gains tended to slow, then go into reverse, and ultimately end in injury/burn-out because those trainers didn't understand the critical role of recovery in physical development. Naturally this led to bodies breaking down under stress, and athletes going into career-ending spirals because of the mental stress that came with this.

                      (3) Making both of these issues worse, was that the Wolfe-like trainers only had one answer to the problems they were seeing when athletes started to deteriorate - to work them harder. They assumed that athletes were 'soft' or 'lazy' when in fact they were often falling apart because of the unrestrained physical stress the trainers were putting them through.

This emerged over and over again across different sports in the past two decades, and now the likes of Ann Wolfe are regarded as dinosaurs in elite level sport. If she showed up to train a professional sports team and started doing that crap, they would interrupt her and send her home after 20 minutes.

There's nothing 'hardcore' about what she's doing. It's just dumb. It's a classic case of someone's only tool being a hammer, so every problem must be a nail.
