If Mayweather beats him again some people will say that the win doesn't count because he beat a Manny Pacquiao who came off a long term injury which prevented him from doing some of the things he normally does. There's always going to be something.

I don't want to see a rematch, I would like to see Mayweather against Khan and one of Canelo/Cotto/Thurman.

I think its Floyd who is the only one making excuses. Fact is Pac had a shoulder injury. Youd be quite deluded if you think having a torn rotator cuff wont effect your performance. Its a case of whether Floyd wants to be honest with himself.

Im sure Pacs right hand was fast and powerful. But less effective than if it was 100% healthy. Does Floyd want Pac to lie and say he thinks he lost the fight? But Pac thinks he beat Floyd. If Floyd wins the rematch, people will say he would have beat Pac regardless of whether he had an injury or not. But as of now, we don't know what would have happened if Pac didn't have an injury. The wins tainted.

Did he do things during the fight suggesting there was a injury? I think you need to be real with yourself and get over the butt hurt and give respect when it's due..I watched the first pacquiao vs bradley fight and admitted thatt pacquiao got robbed and that robberies like this are not good for the sport but just like pacquiao his fans are something else..the idolizing is crazy..he's a human being who got beat,that's all it is..#48 he will be forever.

It was plain as day that pacquiao came out very aggressive with speed and power. Around the 4th round you can see where Manny completely stopped attackin even though he had the ring cut off. The corner was basically silent for the rest of the fight and here is Manny trying to figure out how to throw combos with one arm. His surgeon as well as his sparring partners all confirmed the injury along with the NSAc who confirmed he had requested a shot in the shoulder fight night which they denied, probably with the help of some cash from mayweather

I just want to say in my first post since the fight that whether Pacquiao was injured or not shouldn't subtract from the credit that Floyd deserves for the win. Fact is both fighters went ahead with the fight and to Floyd's credit he won that fight fair and square. I would prefer Pacquiao to come out and say that Floyd was the better fighter that night and ask for a rematch the correct way. The only thing I truly have a problem with is the Floyd fans acting like Mayweather put on some dominate performance. Maybe it's because built up anger because of the years of trash talk between Floyd and Pac fans but truth be told both Pac and Floyd looked like crap in that fight. Both were hesitant to throw, Pac followed blindly sometimes without cutting off the ring, and Floyd did a lot of running, and WAY too much clinching in that fight. It was just an off disappointing fight by both fighters. Was a real big let down of the "fight of the century".

What a great response to a thread that for the most part has been full of ridiculous commentary. I can't disagree with anything in this post.

if Manny wants a rematch he should come back and beat Thurman/Khan/Maidana/Brook/Porter or someone along those lines. A win over one of those would prove he deserves a rematch.
