    May 4, 2015:

To make matters worse, Pacquiao and his promoter, Top Rank, released a statement Monday that said his advisers notified the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency — which oversaw drug testing for the fight — of Pacquiao's right shoulder injury well before the May 2 bout "during training." The statement also said USADA "confirmed in writing that the proposed treatments, if used, were completely allowed."

Sources told The News, however, that Pacquiao's camp never informed USADA of the boxer's shoulder injury, and that the two calls his camp made to USADA prior to the fight were inquiries into whether certain substances Pacquiao was considering using were prohibited or not...

Koncz added that it was “our understanding that I thought USADA was in constant contact with the commission about all this and the contract we signed with USADA was given to the commission and they were privy to all the test results. This whole incident has been blown out of proportion and the only ones who suffer were Manny and the fans.”

Manny Pacquiao’s camp has greater worries than the lingering sting of the Filipino welterweight’s loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Las Vegas Saturday, and it could come in the form of pr…

..Pacquiao believes he was sabotaged by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. He believes word leaked to Floyd Mayweather's camp about his right shoulder injury. He believes that the NSAC deliberately refused to allow him a numbing injection prior to the fight. He believes his team gave the commission proper advance notice.

The commission disagrees. Chairman Francisco Aguilar says that while Pacquiao did get approval from USADA, who administered random blood and urine testing leading up to the fight, to take the lidocaine ****tail to deal with a shoulder injury in camp, Top Rank and Pacquiao's team did not give the commission notice of the injury before the fight.

Aguilar said that Pacquiao's camp noted the possible need for the lidocaine ****tail on a medical form filled out at Friday's weigh-in, but a check mark in the "no" box was placed next to the question of whether the fighter had a shoulder injury.

"If the injury was disclosed at the weigh-in, we could've had a conversation and handled it differently," Aguilar said. "When you come at 6:30 with the fight at 8, that's a different conversation."

Mayweather-Pacquiao is done and dusted, but claims of sabotage rage on in another embarrassment for an embattled sport that can’t get out of its own way.

Stop saying he notified the NSAC! They inquired about meds to USADA, and they thought USADA notified NSAC. Team Pacquiao has no excuse. Arum and Roach have been fighting in Vegas for too long, not to know better!

Well, it is the same damn excuse, so what's so hard to understand about it? Maybe Floyd was hurt, maybe it was an excuse. Maybe Pac was hurt, maybe it was an excuse. Either way, both dudes have claimed the same injury for a fight that they didn't look good in.

When did Castillo whoop Floyd? Floyd did have surgery. They didn't have instagram back then to fool people. The Pac excuse train, choo choo!

And Floyd won! He gave Castillo a rematch because it was close and the right thing to do. Same with Maidana. The Pac fight was a mismatch. Nobody wants to see it again and it's definitely not the right thing to do. It was a con job thinking that Pac could ever beat Floyd.

I know he was throwing rights and lefts, hitting air, but throwing nonetheless! No one, with a significant injury, could throw punches like Manny. Maybe GOD was lifting his arms for him, until GOD decided to raise Floyd's arms in victory!
We already know how long, LA Times article Arum stated the injury was suffered in 2008 while he was on a jetski. I had thread about it, but for some odd reason it was removed....????

Manny Pacquiao and his promoter issued a joint statement trying to clarify the shoulder injury he fought with in his unanimous-decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Saturday.

That doesn't count doe...it's only an outrage when Pacquiao does it.

Not an outrage at all. Mayweather won. It's the people trying to excuse the loss that are outraged. And we're rightly ****ting on them.

You know the difference here, and you know exactly why theres an ''outrage''

You act as if its only people on this forum that feel the same way

Media, Fighters and fans all over all feel the same about this situation

You just sound like a bitter Pacquiao fanboy regardless of how many times you claim not to be

I wish you had the article regarding the jet-ski in 2008. Boxers have old injuries and get treated all the time. No professional athlete is 100% at age 36 or 38! Manny knows better, that's why he didn't say anything to Kellerman!
