Broner knows he best not take this fight at 147. Khan carried up the weight very well and once again is a little more durable than he was at 140. Lots of guys make the mistake of thinking just because khan "thinks" he's on the level of Floyd or the fact that he been KTFO a few times that he's easy pickings when that's not the case. Khan has a lot of decent wins as well. I see him giving Broner major problems with that jab. Overall Broner just too small for Khan we all know small fighters are Khan's specialty....
maybe he gets cut up or really takes a beating for several rounds, but i expect this one to go to the scorecards.
khan's a very solid puncher, but he's learned that he doesn't need to take it to guys to win. his best attributes are his speed and accuracy, and his worst is his chin. he's best suited to box and pick spots. i don't think khan will put the steady rain on broner and break him down, or nail him with something huge and put him to sleep. i think he'll be content with winning virtually every round.
broner has no chance in this fight. his people will not take it, and they shouldn't.
There's a definite change in excitement in watching Khan fight pre Peterson/Garcia and watching Khan fight post Peterson/Garcia.
The change your noticing is probably Hunter , and it's a good change because Hunter teaches patience and technique , something Kahn wasn't use to as Freddie the joke Roach teaches tornado/typhon style boxing ie , go out there and simply overwelhm ur opponent with unbridled offence . Having said that Kahn is still one of the most exciting boxers out there as he still (even with Hunter) has the highest punch output per round that any other fighter in and around his weight class .
Khan is too fast for the Brone. Brone is not very good and has a dim future in boxing. Being hated and despised hurts Broner also. Cincinnati the Brone's home town hates his little guts.
