  • Comments Thread For: Khan on Brook-Gavin: Another No-Name Kell is Facing!

Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) is not moved by Kell Brook's upcoming defense of the IBF welterweight title against Frankie Gavin. Khan is back on May 29th against Chris Algieri at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Khan says Gavin is unknown to many fans outside of the UK, but he does hold a high ranking with a fourth position under the IBF. Algieri is returning from last November's twelve round decision loss to Manny Pacquiao. Algieri survived despite going down six times in the contest.

I'd say Frankie Gavin and Chris Algieri are about the same. Both about equally overmatched in their respective fights. How could Khan make that match up and claim he's making the superior fight.

"Oh no but it's all Amir's fault."

At this point Amir was in States defending his World title against Malignaggi in his hometown, which at that time was a serious challenge, but in hindsight it is laughed upon but that is all of Amir's fights where they pick for him to get KOed only to cry after.

After this Brook will fight Rios. Unfortunately Witter is a stable mate or else he would've been next.

This guy pretends as if there is nothing without Khan, probably learned that obsession from Witter (Hatton). It is either Khan or fighting Floor sweepers.

I love how some mugs talk about how Brook won a title in America, but has Khan done it? When you bring up beating Judah for his IBF version of the 140lbs title they move the goal post to "oh but he wasn't a contender going in like Kell wah wah wah".

Khan is by far the most deluded one ever to lace the gloves .If Kell had it his way he would be fighting Khan in a few weeks and Khan is fighting a nobody he calls a 'A' class fighter for peanuts , when he could have earned £5 million pounds in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley stadium in what he said was HIS dream .....you would have to be really thick NOT to work this one out....or a Khan fan !
