No need to land clean - hitting arms, forearms, shoulders, neck, top of the head (downcut lol), even gloves would suffice.

Those fans that are predisposed to like certain defensive slick styles don't understand GGG style. For instance, when he fights, he seems slow AF for an unfamiliar eye, so let's assume it's his limitation - slow speed. So he's sometimes slow, and it's very true, but only few understand that sometimes he thoughs slow punches on purpose. In reality this guy throws a high number of punches and variates the speed of those punches to disrupt the rhythm of his attack in order to be unpredicatble. I'm not saying his quick AF, he's not, but he understands his limitations and incorporates other elements to compensate and even polish his stregths.

Golovkin stops "TBE". He wouldn't even feel Floyd's punches.

If Golovkin can make 154 no problem like he said, then why would people say he'd be weight-drained? He obviously has no problems and as long as he comes in to the fight the way he expected, then this should be a good idea for a match.

As opposed to Ward's fantastic resume pre-Super Six...

            Shelby Pudwill
            Edison Miranda
            Henry "Sugar Poo" Buchanan
            Esteban Camou
            Jerson Ravelo
Rubin Williams (No, not Robin... RUBIN.)
            Roger Cantrell

I could continue but you won't recognize any of the other names on the list either.

Why are Floyd fans bashing GGG so hard? If he can make 154 healthy and willingly, then what's the problem with the fight? Oh that's right,GGG too big doe,GGG needs to move up and fight ward doe,GGG isn't a big name doe. The way things stand are that Floyd would be in there with someone who is bigger, stronger, amazing at cutting of the ring, has a piston like jab,and can hurt you anywhere he touches you. Floyd fans **** on GGG for calling out Floyd at 154 (which Floyd fought cotto and Oscar at) yet they forget that ward called him out at 160,but I guess that's fine since its ward.

Would Floyd even agree to fight Golovkin if he was a welterweight?

I love GGG but he stretchin' with that 160 nonsense. Floyd is a wee little man compared to a Natural MW.

But I feel May would outbox him, GGG is tough as nails and gritty but is not fast enough to catch May and make it count.

Maybe in 6 years time when Golovkin's zimmer-framing around the ring

Forgot to mention the most important skill set between the two styles... 'speed'. May is too fast for GGG. He would box circles around a slow and flat footed GGG. I doubt Golovkin would stalk him all night after getting peppered by a nice amount of solid right hands. Would be a very interesting fight though, I would like to see 'if' GGG could walk through his offence and stalk him into the ground. Would be exciting to anticipate the possibilty of May getting caught/dropped but i fear we would ultimately see a boxing clinic put on above any other possible outcome.

At this point in his career though as a huge Money May fan even I WANT to see him get rocked and dropped because him in serious serious trouble is the only thing we haven't seen from him. Id love to see how he handles that type of adversity and I think if he handled it and fought through it and won, it would do a great deal for his legacy because than we could say we've seen him fight through turmoil and come back to win.
