I think Paulie thought Pac was on steroids beforehand, but obviously not anymore. That's the thing though, Pac is too nice of a person to call him out. Paulie needs to go to the media and start chalking it up because I'm tired of his loud mouth doing nothing but yapping all day.
[Good Read] Why does Paulie's disdain for Pacquiao go unchecked by him?

I disagree with you about Paulie's ability as an analyst. I think Roy got picked because he's Roy and also because he does a good job in his own right.
I'm with you on everything else though. Im not sure why Paulie hates Manny so much. Maybe it's because he destroyed Hatton and Cotto and he was beat up by both? I think that messed with his head that some little guy from 130 could do that. As limited as Pac can be as a boxer, he is much better technically than Paulie is. Paulie can't even get away from a right hand man. He needs to chill out on his Pac hateComment

Im not sure why people get all butt hurt over Paulie's opinions
Alot of them are valid points
Pacquiao was the #1 P4P fighter in the sport when Mayweather brought up the testing, and Paulie feels that Pacquiao, as the #1 P4P fighter, should have been in the forefront of cleaning up the sport especially after abunch of fighters started getting caught for PEDs after Mayweather brought up the issue
He holds that against Pacquiao, for refusing the test during that time period when fighters were just starting to get caught for using
He also just points out the obvious, cold fact, that doesnt get much attention
After the Cotto fight, when Pacquiao started being accused of PED use
HE HAS NEVER LOOKED THE SAME SINCE
He hasnt looked anywhere close to the fighter he was in the Cotto fight
Against Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, he has looked like the Pacquiao we see now. Its a fact and everyone ignores it... Paulie doesntLast edited by MrP4P; 05-07-2015, 12:42 PM.Comment

I just feel its the way Pacquiao is painted
Its frowned upon to be critical or say anything negative regarding Pacquiao
I mean, Max Kellerman was getting crap for being shocked when Pacquiao said he won the fight, when that same reaction has been given to MANY other fighters who had said the same thing following a clear loss
People dont want anyone being critical of their favorite fighter, and Pacquiao has the biggest cult following fanbase there is in sports. When Its a fighter like Mayweather, thats being criticized, its considered okay and applauded
It really comes down to double standards and Pacquiao being painted as some saintComment

The one sidedness of the whole thing makes Paulie seem incredibly pathetic. He devotes so much of his time trashing Pacquiao, and Pacquiao doesn't even seem to know he exists. It's almost like an unrequited love. His level of obsession with Manny isn't healthy.Comment

Anyway, on Paulie, he would love a Pacquiao or Mayweather fight but the truth is he has never been good enough to land one.
Paulie feels he needs to say it to bolster his self-esteem regarding his own career. He is the one who loses out ultimately, he was cut from the co-commentary, lost of fans and respect and made himself look very small.Comment
