Broner had every advantage in the book coming into the fight, Porter moved down 3 pounds to fight him, rehydration clause was cancelled cuz of Broner, Broner was always introduced second and even during the fight Weeks was definitley on his side and he still got outworked and lost, I don't think he's serious enough about this and I don't see him accomplishing much in boxing tbh.
But at least he knocked down Porter which has never been done before, he's just neither mentally strong nor disciplined enough to fight at an elite level, he should move down to 140 and keep fighting C level fighters and wait till a title gets vacated and fight a bum for it, he should avoid 147 like the plague until shortly before he retires, I don't see him making money in boxing, I hope his kids are financially protected and I hope he doesn't go broke with his idiotic lifestyle, I heard from a lot of people that Al Haymon was sick of Broner that's why he made this fight and Broner was forced to take the fight and apparently they don't have too many plans for Broner, Floyd left the arena after the fight which I found hilarious, I think he was like we promoted this ****ty fight where Broner clinched more than he threw punches.

yeah, i dont think anyone said Chavez Jr was going to take over anything. At least i dont recall it. I think they said he had a chance to be good if he put his mind too it, which he clearly hasn't.

Broner needs to learn that you can't play the countering game exclusively, because eventually you'll run into an opponent like Porter that won't give you much opportunity to counter.

There are actually plenty of opportunities to counter. Broner is fast but he isn't accurate, plus his punch selection is ****. Missed the same left hook counter the entire fight.
