Some other notable fight weights in or around that weight class

Canelo- Trout 166.5 for 154 fight 30 days out
Golovkin- 165 Rubio 174 for middleweight fight 30 days out
Cotto 160 Martinez 170 for middleweight fight 30 days outs
Martinez- Murray both 170 for middleweight fight 30 days out.

Cotto really isn't big at all at 164, seems normal for 154 guy.
Geale, that just seems bizarre to be so light.

One weird thing I read and not sure if it's true is that Willie Monroe didn't do his 30 day weigh in for Golovkin thus is ineligible for the title if he wins (he won't anyways but still)

we don't look at the past, we look at the now and right now he is 164. he is defiantly a middleweight fighter right now

164 is normal for a 154 guy 30 days out is my point. It's not big at all.

          I think it's light for 160.

I read it was he wouldn't get like WBA insurances or something, not ineligibility for title. If I recall correctly.

Also, Geale is really light.. "Cotto is too small for Middleweight"

Edit: GGG has the WBC interim belt, so its also a WBC fight. He didn't do the weigh-in so he loses out on winning the WBC interim belt and becoming Cotto's mandatory granted he wins.

The first post(+ more) about Canelo was extremely negative(as it is for all articles about Mexican$ here and most sites) but the ones about Cotto are dispassionate= Canelo(and all Mex fighters) not only has 150 million Mexican fans but some very passionate haters= Canelo is the A-side vs Cotto :>)

Cotto is too small for MW. In no way is 5'7 the ideal height for MW regardless of how fat he is when training.
